java - cannot add server(tomcat) to eclipse -


environment : windows + eclipse luna service release 2 (4.4.2) + tomcat 8 + jdk 8

when try add new server eclipse file -> new -> other -> server

i choice "tomcat v8.0 server" in "new server" dialog, , have added "server runtime environments". there error message

" selected server type not support remote hosts".

what can error?

i solved changing server runtime environments in eclipse,
preferences => server => runtime environments

then select tomcat type. can remove server , add new server runtime environment or edit existing 1 giving correct tomcat installation path. won't give

"the selected server type not support remote hosts" error.
