i using laptop below configuration. processor: intel(r) core(tm)i5-4300u cpu @1.90ghz 2.49ghz ram: 8gb system type:64-bit os, x64-based processor

windows edition:windows 8.2 enterprise

when reading cpu architectures, wanted know cpu architecture followed in computer?

your processor modified harvard architecture. reason why modified harvard architecture has split instruction , data l1 caches. except this, von-neumann architecture - instructions , data can both present in other cache levels , main memory.

the distinction between 2 relevant when instructions treated data, such in self-modifying code or in time compilers.
