i have formula answer following:

if c6/2 less .5, e6 .5 otherwise answer c6/2.

i go equivalent (but smaller) statement =if(c6<1,.5,c6/2)

what you're doing has name it's called max function. =max(c6/2,.5) produce same result easier read.
