for research, need access dataset of stack overflow. tried access data stack exchange data explorer getting following error:timeout expired. timeout period elapsed prior completion of operation or server not responding query https://data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/6627/top-50-most-prolific-editors.

my guess query takes long , takes many resources solve. query made in jul 2010, dataset fraction of today, might have made possible performed. nowadays dataset large it.

you consider downloading recent dataset , perform query on own server.
