web component - Element Aliasing in Polymer -


say want include credit card input in page. so, browsing new polymer 1.0 elements catalog, chose <gold-cc-input> element.

but, don't idea of "gold", "platinum" , "neon" namespaces in element's name. there way create aliases components in code i'll able use arbitrary name , use instead (like <my-cc-input>)?

in polymer 0.5, can extending element. since polymer 1.0 complete rewrite, ability extend native element still there, sans extending custom elements. can read here.
