printing - CSS How to insert a page-break within a block element -
i want separate data different pages when printing. each (printed) page within #pagewrapper.
my css:
#pagewrapper+#pagewrapper { page-break-before: always; } @media print { #navigation, #cleardiv, #footer, .noprint { display: none; } #printed-article { border: 1px solid #777; padding: 10px; } #pagewrapper { margin: none; } }
when content added page preset header/nav/footer, page breaks no longer exist...
i don't know how describe situation more. think has content being in block. possible in block still have page-breaks?
i found problem (and solution). site had .css files header/nav/footer etc. code broke page-breaks:
#content { position:absolute; right:0px; float:left; width: 100%; margin: 0; padding: 0; background: none; font-size: 10pt }
i couldn't change it, because it's used elsewhere, added following override own .css:
#content{ position:inherit; right:auto; float:inherit; width: 100%; margin: auto; padding: auto; background: none; }
