php - Is it possible to Sync a local WAMP database with a live website? -

i'm working on website highly data-driven. naturally calls databases (and lots of them). new kind of web development looking how done , how sync work before started, i'm not interested in doing work twice. answer i'm finding seems pretty "you can't sync them" in (very novice) situation. i've read master/slave connection can make, it's unlikely average web server allow this. i've checked , i'm pretty sure mine doesn't (1&1).

so! if isn't possible sync local database live website database (when comes existence), point of using local database @ all?

does have advice on efficient way work non-syncable local or live database? there advantages working 1 on other?

edit - should mention website being built on local wamp server. not live online.
