Magento Invoice - Not displaying VAT Number -


are magento invoices not supposed display vat number.

as far know in uk invoices displaying vat must accompanied vat number?

can please advise easiest way add it.

the easiest way add vat number address block here:

system => configuration => sales => invoice , packing slip design
