keylistener - KeyEvent.getKeyText(KeyEvent.getExtendedKeyCode()) returns German keynames -


my problem keyevent.getkeytext(keyevent.getextendedkeycode()) returns german keynames (i german). need english ones. possible returns english keynames. (e.g. "ctrl" instead of "strg")

you have force locale "en_us" use english names. unfortunately not provide information on platform using. let's assume it's java, shall we?

then need run on app start:

locale locale1 = new locale("en", "us", "win"); locale.setdefault(locale1);
